Carrie Underwood Injures Wrist After Falling On The Steps Outside Her Home
Superstar Carrie Underwood suffered an injury after her fall at her home on Friday night (Nov. 10). Her rep released a statement to the press about the incident. According to Underwood’s spokesperson, the singer was taken to the hospital for a broken wrist as well as cuts and abrasions from the fall.
Underwood didn’t suffer any life-threatening injuries from the fall. The statement read that she will “take some time” and she “appreciates all the prayers and well wishes.” This comes after Underwood performed and co-hosted at the 51st annual Country Music Awards on Wednesday night. Her husband Mike Fisher was able to fly back to be by his wife’s side.

The singer shared a message for her fans on Twitter which read, “Thanks so much for all the well wishes everybody…I’ll be alright…might just take some time…glad I’ve got the best hubby in the world to take care of me.” Underwood assured fans that she was going to be fine from her scary fall.
